As part of our expanding base of services, K2’s owners established a partnership with DSP Builders to form KT Development. The resulting full-service combination of design, entitlement and construction provides an optimal turnkey solution for many commercial developers and national clients. Currently, KT Development is contracted to develop 22-30 new WoodSpring Suites and Everhome Suites extended stay hotels in the Colorado and Arizona markets.
K2’s role within the KT Development team is to provide the same full service civil engineering, entitlement and development management services we provide other clients, but with an expanded involvement in site sourcing, due diligence, financing and construction coordination. It is KT’s goal to expand our development opportunities with Choice Hotel brands while pursuing other commercial development opportunities and partnerships in the western United States.
